Fried Chicken Ramen

What’s In the Kit

  • Miso and Garlic Oil Broth Base
  • Ramen Noodles
  • Fried Chicken
  • Southern Spice
  • Cabbage Slaw
  • Charred Corn
  • Green Onion
  • Soft-Boiled Egg
  • Chopsticks

What You’ll Need

  • Medium Size Pot
  • Baking Sheet
  • Something to Whisk With

What You Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and put it in the oven. Bake for 6 minutes on one side, flip the chicken over and repeat for the other side so that it’s hot and crispy.
  3. Season the chicken on both sides with the Southern Spice and set aside for now.
  4. Combine 2.5 cups of water with the miso and garlic oil base in your pot and whisk together.
  5. Place on medium-high heat and bring to a simmer, then add the noodles.
  6. Bring it all back up to a simmer before removing from the heat.
  7. Split your noodles and broth into bowls, then top them off with the cabbage, charred corn, green onion and egg (cut it in half first). Serve with the crispy chicken on the side.
